XRAY XB2'18 Alu Chassis – Swiss 7075 T6 (2.5mm) 321104

Alu chassis made from custom-produced 2.5mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum. The special design ensures that different areas of the chassis have the proper flex – either stiff or soft – to decrease the CG. The precision milling allows the chassis to be stiff enough to perform properly without risk of bending.

CNC-machined from high-quality 2.5mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, the chassis is lightweight without affecting strength or rigidity, and is additionally black coated at XRAY’s own in-house fully-robotic coating line.

Weight distribution, chassis width & length, and proper flex have all been incorporated into the design of the chassis.

Due the nature of the aluminum material and the machining process, it is normal that the chassis may be slightly bent in the longitudinal direction.
